8th Grade Band Awards 2020
Since we could not be together on April 27, 2020, we thought this would be a good substitution for our awards presentation. Congrats to all the winners. Even if you did not win an award this year, know that we think very highly of all of you. We are very proud of the past 3 years we have all spent together. We hope that all of you make music a part of the rest of your life. Thank you, and good luck in everything you do.
Still Foundation Award Nominations
- Must be completed by 5/1/2020
I know this is going to be slightly more difficult than usual given the fact that we haven't been in school since March 13th, but it will be ok. When you click on the link below it will take you to a form where you can nominate one male and one female classmate that you think is representative of the qualities listed. READ the statement at the top of the nomination form, as it explains exactly the type of person that should be recognized. The winners of this award will be forever immortalized on the plaque in our band room. When you are filling this out, give your nomination some serious thought. The person you nominate does NOT have to be in the same period as you, they just need to be an 8th grader. If you do not know the first and last name of the person you are nominating you can describe them. For instance, The clarinet player with long black hair, I think her name is Meg or Megan or something. If your description is good enough I will get it. Usually you will know their first name so the following is common: Megan-Clarinet. I look forward to seeing your nominations. Please complete this form no later than Friday May 1, 2020!

This old man, his name's Ruhs,
He has trouble tying his shoes;
'Cause his back is sore and his knees are achy too,
Velcro is what he should use.
