SOLO/ENSEMBLE CONTESTStudents may choose to sign up for the Solo/Ensemble Contest in November. They are allowed to perform an ensemble with a group of other students, or they may sing a solo. Preparation for the contest begins by signing up and paying the small fee, rehearsing through the winter, and performing at contest in February. Scoring is awarded for the success of each performance by a judge. This is only recommended for 6th graders who are very dedicated to singing.
